Do You Have a Track
or a Rod?

The most important thing to know before buying curtains in India: are you hanging them on a rod or a track? American Pleat curtains only work on curtain tracks. If you have a rod, choose our Eyelet style instead.

A curtain track is a metal channel fixed to the ceiling or wall — it has small plastic or metal gliders that slide inside it. American Pleat curtains attach to these gliders using hooks sewn into the pleat. This system is standard in DDA flats, older homes built before 2000, hotels, and commercial spaces.

Each panel is 30 inches wide — divide your total required width by 30 to get the number of panels needed. E.g. for a 7ft 3" window (87 inches): ₹1,740 standard, ₹2,610 with blackout. American Pleat (also called pinch pleat or triple pleat) is a curtain heading where the fabric is pinched at regular intervals and attached using hooks to a curtain track system.
