Standard ceiling (8–9 ft)
Choose 7 ft or 8 ft drop. Hang the rod 6–8 inches above the window frame so the curtain pools 1–2 inches on the floor for a classic look.

High ceilings (10 ft+)
Go for 9 ft or 10 ft panels. For dramatic height, mount the rod as close to the ceiling as possible — it makes rooms feel larger and more luxurious.

Eyelet Style — for curtain rods
Metal rings sewn into the top of the curtain slide directly onto a rod. Creates smooth, even folds when drawn open. Easy to hang — no hooks or clips needed. Best for rods in the 25–35 mm range.

American Pleat — for curtain tracks
Fabric is pinch-pleated and attached to hooks that run along a ceiling or wall track. Creates a more formal, structured drape — common in hotels and formal living rooms. Choose if you already have a track installed.

Our velvet curtains are heavy enough to block 80–90% of light, making them highly effective for bedrooms and media rooms. They are not labelled "blackout" but the velvet pile and fabric weight naturally limit light seep significantly. For complete blackout, pairing them with a blackout liner is an option — reach us on WhatsApp to ask about lining options.
Our standard velvet curtain sizes are 4.5 ft, 5 ft, 7 ft and 9 ft drop. For custom lengths, message us on WhatsApp with your measurements.
Use a gentle/delicate cycle in cold water with mild detergent. Avoid wringing — hang immediately after washing. Do not tumble dry on high heat. Steam iron on low to restore the velvet pile if it flattens.
